Produce a game show utilizing a virtual set.

In this project the team will design and broadcast a live game show that employs Virtual Studio Technologies. As well designing a suitable virtual environment for the programme, the team should incorporate interactive elements that the environment will change according to such actions taking place in the scene.
TEAM: Andy, Pierre, Sukiran, Alex and me (Keerthi).
We began by researching already existing games, the one that interested all of us was "Knightmare".  A 20 year old game, but it was the first time I had ever seen it. It was an interesting idea to recreate something along the same lines.
We decided to then come up with our own story. That is how "The Void" was born. We sat around the dining table in the kitchen and finally penned down the ideas and possible strategies and levels within the game. We came up with quite a few ambitious ideas.
However when we divided our roles, we need to find animators, who could use viz as we only had 4 weeks. When we realized we didn't have the budget or the sources to get these people. Andy and Pierre took it upon themselves and created the animations with the help of designs made by Sukiran. Alex and Sukiran later took on a more serious role as actor and contestant in the game.
In the end of the 4 weeks, we had a product, a game show using a vitual set "The Void".

XING

An absolutely amazing experience. A team of 5, Andy, Iqbal, Pierre, Varun and Me competing with another 7 teams.

We were given "Freshious" A fresh juice company and had to come up with a buisness stratergy by finding a target audience, tailoring our product to target them and to also come up with a time frame by which our product would be in the market and its financial position.

We began with  the "Elevator Pitch", which was honestly awful and the feedback we got said exactly the same that we had no strategy, no target audience, we don't have a product anyone would chose to invest in and we did not know where we were headed.

Well that certainly put us in our place, we brought our thinking caps out. Found the gap in the juice market, identified our target audience, formed a clear strategy of how we would advertise and sell the product and came up with a realistic time frame. We also used the internet for our research and found existing figures of sales of the current drinks in the market and how our product would compete with them and be succesful.

The day ended with Our TEAM 4 winning the competition.

This game not only pushed us to work together as a team, but we managed to create a business strategy that was accepted and complimented by professionals in the very field. We were a group of broadcasters, interactive digital media and fashion designer, with no prior business experience but were ready to sell and sell it well!
